Job description

Required Experience

  • Customer service experience in a restaurant, café, or similar environment
  • Resourcefulness, rigor, and dynamism
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Team management experience and opening/closing shifts is a plus

Step 1

  • Greet customers warmly as they enter and say goodbye to them with a smile
  • Recognize regular customers and offer personalized service
  • Remove empty plates and keep service stations clean
  • Have thorough knowledge of the products and specialties
  • Ensure the utensil station is well-stocked and organized
  • Work in a clean and organized manner
  • Complete cleaning and closing tasks

Step 2

  • Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate options
  • Enthusiastically explain the dishes and specials
  • Promote sales of bread, desserts, and drinks based on specials and inventory
  • Ensure customers receive their pizzas promptly
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and handle special orders
  • Oversee online orders and maintain a clean and organized counter
  • Quickly clean tables after each use
  • Supervise the commis and dishwasher to ensure they are picking up trash and cleaning up after each shift

Step 3

  • Train new employees according to company standards
  • Participate in hiring new team members
  • Show empathy and resolve employee issues by explaining and re-explaining methods when necessary
  • Handle complaints effectively and promptly
  • Optimize team tasks to maximize efficiency during peak hours
  • Maintain a positive and leadership-driven attitude at all times
  • Ensure all tasks are completed within a reasonable time frame, with rigor and dynamism
  • Complete opening and closing tasks according to standards, including managing cash and alarms
  • Have a strong knowledge of wines and share this expertise with the team
  • Adjust work hours and manage labor costs by adapting the schedules of commis and dishwashers
  • Apply and enforce employee manual rules, addressing issues such as tardiness or dress code violations
